Frequently Asked Questions


  • Do I require a permit to drill?

    Yes you do and we are happy to help you with this process. Contact our team today. 

  • I am replacing an existing bore, do I still need a permit?

    No you don’t if the replacement bore is within 10m of the old bore and taking water from the same aquifer

  • Do I require a water licence?

    Yes you do and we are happy to help you with this process

  • Does my driller need a licence to drill?

    Yes, your driller must hold either a Class 2 for sub artesian(non-flowing) and Class 3 for artesian bores (flowing)

  • Does my bore need to be listed with the Department of Natural Resources?

    Yes, your driller must complete a water bore log and submit it to the department within 60 days of drilling completion.

  • What pump should I use?

    We will do a flow test and basic ph test upon completion, but recommend contacting an expert in pumps to get the best possible pump for your bore
