Murray and Peta Gibson founded Gibson Drilling Services in 2007 with the intention of being the local and reliable choice for drilling contractors on the Sunshine Coast. With a strong client relationship, Gibson Drilling Services is the family run company that ensures commitment and consistency in the projects that we complete. Starting as a driller’s offsider in 1993, then becoming a supervisor in all aspects of drilling, Murray Gibson has developed more than 23 years of experience in the explorative, waterbores and geotechnical drilling industry.


Murray, Peta and their team undergo each drilling project with experience, safety and accuracy —which is why we have remained incident-free since starting the company in 2007. By conducting our work with the highest standard of health, safety and training—Gibson Drilling Services is among the best drillers on the Sunshine Coast.


We also service areas in and around Charleville, Roma, Mitchell, Injune, Augathella, and St George and all of QLD. Wherever we drill, we ensure to support local businesses.

The drilling crew and support staff are friendly and strive to achieve the best possible outcome for the project and show enthusiasm and ‘out-of-the-square’ thinking to solve problems as they arise.
